This mobile was definitely named right. The HTC Desire is the most desirable touch screen on the market today. This mobile phone seems to have it all. It’s efficient, powerful and is beautifully designed.
This device comes with a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen with an AMOLED display which is the newest breakthrough in LED screens. You can really enjoy the color clarity and the picture quality with the resolution of 480×800. So viewing your streaming videos or surfing the web will be a pleasure.
If you enjoy taking photos of friends and relatives then you’ll be very pleased with the Desire’s 5 megapixel camera. This camera will give your snapshots and videos high quality images. The camera also comes with a load of extra features like, flash, auto focus, face detection, and geo tagging.
The operating system on the HTC Desire is the Android 2.1. You also get HTC Sense and the combination of these two means that your applications run smooth and effectively and will allow you to really do some multi-tasking. You will be able to run multiple applications with ease.
The Desire also has a lot to offer when it comes to multi-media. This mobile supports a variety of formats that will allow you to download music or videos from the internet; you can play streaming video, view your photos, play your favorite tunes and even listen to your favorite radio station on the built-in FM radio.
For those who love social networking, the Desire gives you access to many social networks wherever you are. So you are always connected to family and friends.
The HTC Desire has an awesome address book. It will gather your contacts and photos from Facebook, Gmail, Flickr and Outlook.
Some other great features of this device are the internal GPS antenna, Google maps and HTC Footprints. With this fantastic trio, you can explore new areas or find the quickest and fastest route to your destination. Just think about it…you’ll never get lost again!
The Desire doesn’t hold back in the power area either. It has a processing speed of 1GHz, 576 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. At one time this was unheard of for a mobile phone. So you can be assured that even the most demanding apps will run smoothly on this phone.
The things we liked about the Desire are; it’s light weight, the talk time of 400 minutes, the stand by time of 340 hours, the memory expansion slot and the awesome camera.
The only thing that we were disappointed about was the lack of Bluetooth.
As you can clearly see, the HTC Desire does not disappoint on power, reliability, functionality or efficiency. So…is this phone perfect? Well, the only thing about this phone that isn’t perfect is its looks. It’s really not as sleek and sophisticated looking as the Legend or the Android. We found it to be a little chunky and a little geeky looking. Aside from that, we love everything else about the Desire. The HTC Desire is a good phone to have and with today’s tv mobilephone price, you won’t regret getting this phone.
