Casual Dress Shoes

Is it acceptable for a guy to wear casual brown pants with black dress shoes?
The pants are not dress pants – they have a khaki/chino-like style and have thin, light-colored stripes running down the length.
The black shoes are the slip-on type (no laces). They have a silver buckle on the side that gives them a more casual appearance.
with a khaki color, yes, they’ll be most definitely fine. with dark brown not as mcuh.
