Public Open Space On Queen St. West Toronto Only Rates A Plus 6 Out Of Ten

by · Leave a Comment

90% of Public Open Space in any city is comprised of sidewalks and roads. Toronto’s “shakers and movers” often portray Queen St. West as a fantastic example of great urban design – of great public space design. But it isn’t; all kinds of elements are missing. This section (the best of the best section and only two blocks long!) of Queen St. West only scores a very modest plus 6 out of ten. Yes it has a great EDGE; but can you list the missing elements?
