Tax ramifications for us citizen investment in the TSX?

Hello Help me handle this one do one.it am it yourself investor who wants to buy shares in a company that only listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. I wonder if the Canadian version of Uncle Sam will want a discount if I take a chance and to the madhouse. Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
