Five on Spadina carries a great selection of brand name clothing and has quickly become one of downtown Toronto’s favourite discount retailers. One can expect to find such labels as Seven FAM, BCBG, Vero Moda, Paul Frank, Firetrap etc., all at 30-70% off retail. Any treasure hunter would find themselves overwhelmed at the gems in this shop.

Kensington Market – Toronto’s vintage playground
by Logan Steele · Leave a Comment
It’s pretty hard to acknowledge this historic district (located just west of Chinatown and just off Spadina Ave.) without paying homage to its multicultural and multi-layered environment. Alongside harbouring some of the city’s best produce markets, “Mom and Pop” restaurants, spice shops, cultural arts and crafts and herbal emporiums. This tucked away treasure also contains some of (if not) the best vintage shopping Toronto has to offer. The list of independent pre-loved merchandise retailers seems endless. From the Vintage Depot to Flash Back to Exile, Dancing Days and on and on, this is a vintage shopper’s paradise. However; Kensington Market is not exclusive to only the retro seeker, this ever growing area also hosts some new and upcoming boutiques as well. From the newly relocated Model Citizen to Japanese clothing hub Asuka, this beloved nook has certainly proven its worth to any and all urban consumer. My advise to you would be to take a stroll over and discover the market for yourself.
