does anyone know where in the hell i can find the legendary asics gel nimbus 7?
i know theyve been out for what 4 years?? lol
but i run across them on ebay but theyre the wrong size..i need 10.5 or 11 in mens..preferbly the red ones but it dont matter…if you have some that are UNUSED let me know so we can talk business
Dude they are all ready out with Nimbus 10 edition. I wouldn’t advise buying old shoes since they gradually break down from being in the warehouse that’s why many shoes are marked down as they age and to make room for the new edition. Buy from holabirdsports.com if you want the newer or next older edition.

It won’t take long for a runner to realize the overwhelming importance of shoes. Poorly chosen footwear can cause injury under the wrong circumstances. So, what constitutes a good choice in footwear? Read on to discover the RIGHT way to select running shoes.
First, the proper fit. Too tight or loose can cause rubbing or otherwise cause pain. It isn’t sufficient just to put the shoe on, if possible move the foot through a range of motion and as much of a running gait as is practical. It is entirely possible to find shoes with subtle imperfections in the fit that aren’t immediately apparent.
Second, we should worry about your running technique. A proper motion for the foot rolls from heel to toe, and has a slight inward rotation as the ball of the foot touches the ground. There are shoes to compensate for a greater tendency to wear the inside, outside or other parts of the shoe tread. As well, there are shoes to compensate for greater or lesser than normal amounts of this standard foot motion, called pronation. The simplest way to determine this is to examine an old pair of running shoes and check the wear pattern. Excessive wear on the inside of the front part of the shoe indicates over pronation, such wear on the outside of the front of the shoe indicates supination.
Third is the priority of the shoe. Shoe designers tend to create shoes to emphasize stability, cushioning or motion control. If you don’t know which of these you actually need, stability is probably the place to start. However, cushioning should be a given. Each time your foot hits the ground, you are dealing with an impact of around three times your body weight, and you’ll do this fifteen hundred times a mile.
Brand is not unimportant, but there are so many and they change rapidly enough that it makes little sense to cover in an article this of this size. Instead, you should simply keep in mind brands you like and try their products first. There are many ways to achieve cushioning and stability, and you simply might be well suited to the one a given brand uses. Appearance matters not one bit, when considering a running shoe. If your priority is a given look, spending the money for a running shoe is a waste of funds, possibly much funds.
Finally, shoes can be optimized for a given type of running. This can be high performance competition shoes, shoes for running on pavement and shoes for running on broken surfaces or cross country.

Running Shoes
When I first decided to start taking my running sessions more seriously 3 years ago a natural question come to my mind: what kind of ecquipment shoud I use? It did not seem a daunting task for a beginner: T-shirt , shorts and a pair of running shoes. Stop. The decision regarding the type of shoes can be a truly headache believe-me..
After some basic research over the web, sporting stores and my brother, who use to be a professional athlete in the 10.000m and 5.000m distances, I concluded that if I were to save money in anything here I needed to make sure it was not the running-shoes! Saving some Euros could cost a lot later ( injuries, doctor bills , or even worse: making me giving up of a healthy habit that I was trying to establish back then).
After a couple of weeks I found just what I needed and bought the Asics Nimbus 10 which fitted perfectly my high arch feet..but how do I come up with that? Lets take a quick dummy tour at the process of choosing the right running shoes.
Do your Wet Test !
To make it short, there are three basic foot types, each based on the height of our arches, each type affecting the reduction of impact on the foot while running .There are various ways for you to conclude which foot type you have, however lets not make it rocket science and stick to the easy but still very effective wet test :
1st: Pour a thin layer of water into a shallow pan
2nd: step in and gently wet the sole of your foot
3rd: step onto a shopping bag or a blank piece of heavy paper
4th: Step off and see the result
Interpreting results
1) Flat Arch
If your entire footprint is visible it means you have a flat foot – you probably are an overpronator. For this type of foot there are some good running shoes that could adapt well to your foot structure, here are some examples ( only for men`s shoes):
-Asics GT 2140
-New Balance MR 729
-Salomon XT Wings
-Mizuno Wave Nirvana 5
-Nike Air Equalon 2
2) Normal Arch
This is probably the most common foot type ( normal pronator) and happens when you see about half of your arch on the wet test footprint. This short list can be a good start for you to choose from ( only for men`s shoes ):
-New Balance MR 749
-Puma Complete Magnetist III
-Nike Zoom Equalon 3
-Mizuno Wave Renegade 4
-Asics Gel-Evolution 5
3) High Arch :
Your footprint describes a high arch and you can only see the ball of your foot, tour heel and a thin line that travels outside your foot (this is actually my type of foot
In this case you might want to take a look at these models ( only for men`s shoes)
-Asics Gel Nimbus 10
-Adidas Running Adizero Boston
-Mizuno Wave Precision 10
-Nike Air Pegasus 25
-Saucony ProGrid Ride
My Conclusion
Choosing a shoe can be a daunting task, but believe me it pays for the effort of being injury free due to foot problems and therefore able to evolve your running gradually.
This is a great yet simple sport and in my opinion the basic training for any athlete on every sport from Soccer to Rugby, Motor sports, Tennis, Swimming, etc, includes a good running scheme of some kind. I started hardly finishing 2 km without taking a break, nowadays my weekly routine includes 30km, it is just a matter of being persistent, the outcome, believe me, is great.
Hope you enjoy it,
Cheers
David

Toe Oxford Shoes

Conventional timberland pro safety toe oxford shoes were quite uncomfortable in the olden days. The modern counterparts are however of the opposite view, with the main focus on lightweight comfort, yet maintaining the same standards of quality and durability. Modern safety oxford shoes are also much ergonomics oriented; basically in keeping your feet safe during vigorous activities nevertheless retaining the basic feminine look.
These days, one of the most famous would be timberland pro steel toe oxford shoes which look much similar to men’s steel toe boots. And in terms of design, the former doesn’t differ much from the latter as well. With the looks and feel relating back to the old classic touch of conventional safety oxford shoes, there are strict standards of requirements to meet these days also; and manufacturers in US are known to have high-quality lineup of boots compared to many other countries. Such safety standards are at the same time not compromised by any way in respect of comfort as well, as abovementioned. Off the hook, a safety toe oxford shoe is not to be confused with urban oxford shoes which are normally worn by women for fashionable purposes outdoor and on formal occasions.
The idea behind making superior timberland pro steel toe oxford shoes for women is very simple, to combine form with functionality whereby you need a pair of strong shoes to last you a whole day at your ‘tough’ workplace by keeping your feet comfortable, yet stay strong towards any external forces and impact while protecting your feet and toes in general. With the soft leather used for the exterior, a classic modern steel toe oxford shoe for women also lasts longer against natural aging and break-ins.
The built of a timberland pro steel toe oxford shoe is typically the same as other common oxford shoes for women, with the only difference being the strong front-hold of steel or aluminum in protecting your toe. Technically as we know, steel toe shoes for women are able to absorb up to 75 ft. lbs. of impact and up to 2,500 lbs of compression. This is several folds higher than other common boots used in outdoor workplaces, which is why even the simplest of a steel toe oxford shoe would slightly be more expensive than the latter; thanks to its superb built quality and durability.
Most makers and retailers around the country do offer a large variety of these shoes, both online and in their brick-and-mortar stores. Whatever the situation maybe, you may ask for a comfort guarantee during the purchase, which actually comes by default by virtue of legacy makers who believe in serving their customers the best way possible. A comfort guarantee for a steel toe oxford shoe would normally cover for almost everything from comfortable feel of usage, strength of protection against daily (normal) impact at work, and many others. The lightweight polyurethane used for comfort is usually tested against various usage factors; nonetheless it is significant of you checking it out yourself for few days before absorbing into full usage for daily tasks in the shoes.

Mizuno Wave Rider Shoes

There are many quality shoes that you can choose from for a variety of purposes. One type of shoe that you can purchase is the running shoe. In order to find the right pair of running shoe for your activity level, consider the following tips.
Some points to consider when purchasing running shoes would be how long you run per day and how many times per week that you run. This is an important consideration for the life of your new running shoes because these shoes can be costly. Most good quality running shoes will cost on average from 50 dollars to a few hundred dollars, with few exceptions.
If you are a runner who runs about 25 minutes a day or less and three times a week, you are a person who may not need expensive running shoes. If you are looking to purchase a new pair of shoes, consider brand names that are known to perform well. For men, consider the Brooks Beast style shoe, or the Mizuno Alchemy shoe. The Brooks shoe should be purchased the same size as your street shoe and the Mizuno shoe should be purchased a half size bigger than your street shoe. Women who run 25 minutes a day or less can purchase either the Asics Nimbus or the Mizuno Wave Rider. These are both excellent running shoes. Both of these shoes will measure a half size bigger than womanâs street shoes.
If you run more than 25 minutes a day, several times a week, you will want to consider a more expensive running shoe. These higher quality shoes are designed to withstand more impact and offer more foot protection. Men may want to consider the Asics Nimbus, which measures a half size larger than your ordinary street shoe. Also, Mizuno Alchemy, which runs a whole size larger than the average shoe, is a good choice. Women might want to look at purchasing either the Brooks Glycerin or the Mizuno Alchemy. Both of these shoes usually measure a half size larger than the normal street shoe.
The brand you choose for running, however, is not exactly a doctorâs order, at least not most of the time. You can choose excellent running shoe models from a variety of other companies as well. Nike, Asics, Etonic, and Reebok are all brands that produce high quality athletic running shoes and are often popular choices. These are some of the brands that people most think of when considering brands of running shoes.
There are other considerations when purchasing running shoes. Think about how often a week you will run, and where you will run. For instance, if you are staying mostly on pavement or track fields, you may not need as rugged of a sole on the bottom of your shoe. On the other hand, if you prefer exercising outside on nature trails, mud, or other rough terrain, you will want to purchase a shoe that can withstand the elements.
Another big factor that affects which type of athletic running shoe that you should buy is whether or not your foot pronates. Pronation is when the foot turns in such a way that the inner sole of the foot holds most of the body weight. Over time, this condition can cause flat feet, Many of the more popular brands of shoes make running shoes that will help correct this problem in most people. Another option to help correct pronation is a shoe insert. These shoe inserts will help a runner maintain better balance while running for added safety.
One more aspect to consider when shopping for running shoes is to determine whether you have narrow or wide feet, and whether or not they are arched or normal. There are many lines of shoes are designed for various foot shapes and arch levels. In addition, there are several resources for people with flat feet. Brooks Beast and Saucony Grid Stabil are two of the most distinct models of shoes that offer added support for people with a variety of foot conditions, such as flat feet. Sometimes an arched insole or arch brace can help combat against the problem of flat feet as well.
If you are serious about running and run everyday, or whether you want to run three days a week or less, consider all the options when looking at running shoes. The easiest way to search for available styles of shoes that are right for you is on the Internet. You can easily find locations of shoe stores nearest and research various brands and features.

There are a lot of different shoes you can pick from for different activities. One of the styles of shoes that you may have thought of already is the running shoe. So if you are looking to buy new pair of running shoes consider the following guidelines to help you choose the best pair for you.
Some things to think about when buying a pair of these shoes is ask yourself how much you run and how far. This is a main factor in buying these shoes to expect the life of them. If you are a serious runner who logs a lot of miles you will probably want to buy more than one pair. Most of all shoes will cost anywhere from $35 to $200.
If you are a runner who only runs about 25 minutes a week on a three day basis then you are looking for the less expensive kind. If you are a heavy runner you need to look for the shoe that will support your foot the best. For men, think about getting Nike or Reebok shoes or even Asics. Asics makes a wide variety of running shoes. Women who run half an hour a day or less should probably go with a shoe like Asics carries.
If you run more than the average person than you will want or either need to buy a better quality shoe and as mentioned above you should also get more than one pair. These higher quality shoes are made to handle more impact and are going to be a lot better on your feet. Men may want to think about getting a good running shoe from a company that specializes in running shoes such as Saucony.
The kind that you choose is not going to hurt you but you want to get the best possible choice you can. You can pick from all kinds of running shoes there are Nikes, Reebok, Mizuno, Asics, Saucony and many more. These are just a few kinds that are picked by many, but you should take a look at the latest Consumer Reports to get a better idea and then go with the one that is comfortable for you.
There are a lot of other things to think about when buying a pair of shoes. Try and think about how much you are running and how far. For example if you are running on smooth surfaces then you’re not going to need a rough bottomed shoe. On the other you may need a rough bottom type because you prefer running in the woods maybe a little cross training.

Nobody likes to have stomach fat. Thanks to today’s fashion there are fewer ways to hide your belly fat and losing it in favor of the “six pack” abs that have become so popular (with “washboard stomachs” not far behind) is on most people’s priority lists. Here is the good news: having some stomach fat doesn’t always indicate poor health. Usually having a “belly” is more of an indication that your body is distributing your weight unevenly. Here are some quick tips to help you lose stomach fat:
1. Eat a healthy diet that is free of saturated fats and processed food. Natural foods are low in calories and easier for the body to digest. Eating a healthy diet is the first step in getting rid of belly fat.
2. Exercise regularly. It is important to exercise your whole body. That said, here are a few exercises designed specifically to help you lose stomach fat:
Lunges
Lunges help your backside as well as your “front side.” Begin by standing tall with your hands on your hops and your feet a few inches apart. Tighten your stomach muscles but don’t arch your back. Beginning with your right leg, take a large step forward while lifting your left heel slightly but keeping the rest of your left foot on the floor. Make sure your toes and your knees are pointed forward.
While keeping your legs in this position, lower your upper body until your front knee forms as close to a ninety degree angle as you can get without hurting yourself. Your knee should be over your ankle but not over your shoelaces. Your goal is to line up your pelvis with your right knee.
While returning to an upright position, bring your left leg forward to meet your right leg and repeat the process using your left leg.
Squats
Squats can be done any where at any time. Here’s how to do them: start by standing upright. Your feet should be hip width apart. Your toes, knees and hips should form a straight line. Pull in your stomach muscles so that your belly button moves in toward your backbone and contract your abdominal muscles. Slowly bend your knees while keeping your upper body straight. The motion should feel like sitting down on a chair. You want to create ninety degree angles with your knees–or as close as you can get without hurting yourself. Your knees should stay behind your toes.
Hold this position for a single count and then slowly stand back up straight. When you stand back up take care to keep your weight on your heels or else you could do damage to your hips and knees. You should also take care not to lock your knees when you return to your standing position. Instead keep them bent a little bit. Don’t raise or lower yourself too quickly. Each direction should take about three counts.
A single set of squats involves between ten and fifteen individual squats. To see a significant difference in your stomach fat you need to do between one and three sets every day.
