Indy quarter of students in Montreal?
I went to Montreal several times, and I've never been able to find an area similar to the Queen Street / West College Street Toronto or SoHo in New York. If anyone has recommendations on where to go, I understand fully. You are certainly welcome reset in French!
This is not Toronto or New York, but try my neighborhood – Ghetto McGill! Why not? I feel that you like there – if it is only a hunch.

Future routes to the airport to Amritsar?
Amritsar airport is booming, with a proposed subway lines connecting the city center, and other important links, and line for Chandigarh and other cities, you can tell its Tokyo Narita Airport in manufacturing. Recently we have seen cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata Vienna, New York, Toronto London Birmingham Dubai from Moscow and other cities to be served by this airport, that think other cities are served by this airport. Air India has also been mentioned, saying they are studying the Vancouver-Vancouver-Amritsar and Amritsar-San Fransico, San Fransico airport roads if this change and it happens quickly. So again what do you think other cities will be served by this airport, the next future?
There has been operating flights between 21Oct.06 and 31 Mar.07-Colonia-Amritsar-Cologne (Germany). It is planned to begin this route again in the next 3-4 months.

Moving from Halifax to Toronto, But How?
I’m thinking of moving from Halifax to Toronto, but I really don’t know where to start. I am a 21 year old female, I have my high school diploma but I’m not in university. So I guess first of all I’m wondering, where would be the best types of places for me to look for a job? Is there anyone who will hire me before I move or am I just pushing it? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for good, cheap one bedroom apartments or a suggestions for a moving company? Anything would be helpful, I’m a little overwhelmed.
There are lots of JOBS for 21 year old women, but what do you plan to do in five or ten years from now? Sorry, I had to ask.
There are lots of good jobs and lots of not so good jobs. It’s the worst time of year to be thinking of such a move. Students and many others are flooding the job market.
To answer you question: Student areas can be somewhat inexpensive. Try the housing bulletin boards on college and university websites, craigslist etc. There are many, many jobs for personal assistants, homecare workers, nannies etc. where there is a live in option. Sometimes these types of jobs work out just fine. This might help you on a temporary basis. There are unadvertised jobs for servers and hostesses at restaurants and clubs. That’s much more lucrative$$$ But, being hired while you’re in Halifax is unlikely.
You can also find shared rides on sites like craigslist. Maybe if you have stuff you can store some of it it in Halifax and just bring absolute essentials.
I notice you say you are “thinking” about moving here. I know a lot of people here who would LOVE to live in Halifax. Why dont you first come for a visit and see if you like it? Maybe arrange a job and a place. If I were you, I’d apply for every student aid, scholarship or bursary and go back to school as soon as possible.
Jobs may be found thru the government website link below. Good luck!
