Toronto Police Use Violent Force In Raid of Compassion Club

CANNABIS CULTURE – Police used violent force in a raid on a Toronto location of the Cannabis As Living Medicine (CALM) Compassion Club on Wednesday, and arrested and laid marijuana trafficking charges against several staff members. “The police barged in and threw people to the ground without warning, without asking to be allowed in and without showing their warrant.,” CALM’s attorney Ron Marzel told Cannabis Culture. “They stormed their way in and started throwing patients down and pinning them to the ground. We got it all on video.” VIDEO COMING SOON – WATCH THIS SPACE One staffer suffered a concussion and a fat lip, but no one was seriously injured. Marzel said CALM’s owner, known as Neev, and eight staff members were charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking. Each was locked up for over ten hours before being released, and many who are medicinal marijuana patients were denied access to their medicine. The police told staffers they would be released only if they signed a form agreeing not to return to CALM until the case is over. “They made the staff promise, under a recognizance, not to go back to CALM,” he said, “and that was the only way they were going to release the staff and allow them to medicate.” Toronto Police were contacted by Cannabis Culture but refused to make a comment until “after the holiday”. CALM is one of the oldest medical cannabis clubs in Canada, established in 1996. CALM’s website states that the organization is a “peer-run

Nike Air Force One “The Ultimate Collection” Pt. 1

Nike Air Force Ones have been the center of attention when it comes to sneakers for the past few decades. There is something awe inspiring about them and the celebrities who don them on a regular basis. The name itself is derived from the presidential airplane which shares the same name, minus the Nike of course. There are countless numbers of celebrities that swear by these shoes and an even greater number of collectors. There are some key characteristics that define the brand on the whole but on the other hand there are an infinite amount of designs, colors and schemes that the shoe comes in.

The Air Force Ones have three distinct styles including high-top, low-top and mid-top. The defining characters of these shoes include a Velcro strap that can hang low or be tied up tight, a removable medallion attached to the laces with the numbers 82 inscribed to signify the first year in which they were produced. On top of these features, the vast array of colors, designs, sizes and shapes that the shoes come in has made them world famous and a hot commodity for all sneaker collectors. No collection of sneakers can be deemed complete with a couple of air force ones that have been deemed rare and special.

While there are an infinite number of color combinations, the most popular by far is the “white-on-white” version that is solid white throughout. Celebrities from Jay-Z to pretty much every popular basketball player swear by these sneakers for everyday wear and special occasions. While the sneakers did gain original popular through rap moguls and idols, they have become much more mainstream throughout the world in recent years and can be seen pretty much anywhere you go. Possibly the biggest exposure the brand got was when rap superstar Nelly produced a single entitled, “Air Force Ones” to commemorate the widespread popularity.

One of the reasons that the Nike Air Force Ones have such popularity among collectors is the simple fact that the sale of them is strictly regulated. If you want to get your hands on the original sneakers, you cannot purchase them through online retailers or in knock off stores. Of course, as with any other product you can get street made versions but they will not be the real deal. Nike itself has strictly regulated the manufacturing of the shoes and they have even produced a large number of collector items that were only released for a very short time. These are the shoes that major sneaker collectors will have in their home strictly to look at and not for personal wear. Nike has also produced Air Force Ones specifically designed for superstars like Lebron James and Micheal Jordan.

Be sure to choose the right type of shoes for your sport though. If you are playing basketball, you may wish to pick up a pair of Nike Air Force One or Nike Dunks. If you are into running, a pair of Nike athletics shoes may be just what you are looking for. Having the right pair of shoes is important because as mentioned earlier, different sports involve different movements. The shoes are specially built to cater to these movements. You don’t want to be wearing a pair of indoor court shoes to run a marathon. That will do more harm than good.

how hard are Nike Air Max LTD trainers to clean ?

i thinking of getting some nike air max LTD trainers. play football, are hard to get dog poo or mud off cause am always getting it on.

I always put my daughters Nike Air Max in the washing machine (after rinsing off any mud). Her last pair were a year old when she grew out of them and they still looked like new. It didn’t harm them in the least.

Air Force Ones Shoes

Nike as a brand specializing in sports apparel needs little introduction. How often have you seen your favorite sports personalities endorse the brand in commercials or sport its logo proudly on their T-shirts while playing a tournament at either national or international levels?

Nike stands for comfort and quality and that is why sports people across the world swear by the company’s products. Now, the company’s recent version of hybrid shoes, Air Force One, has also found favor with the people who are looking for a comfortable pair of shoes for daily wear.

So what is the difference between the other shoes and the Air Force One shoes manufactured by Nike? Before answering this question consider this fact. As a consumer you must have wondered why Nike shoes are so expensive compared to other sports shoes. You may have even shrugged off the question thinking the company is charging for its brand value.

However, this is not entirely the case. The reality is that sports shoes are really difficult to design. Let us for example consider the movements of a basketball player. During the game, he moves forward, backward, laterally and even rotates the ball at his feet. Now take the case of a sprinter; he just runs forward so there is just one lateral movement. So when you actually go into the thick of things, you will realize that there is more than meets the eye. A lot of money goes into research and development of these shoes. The research teams study the movements of the athletes and sports people and then come up with a design for the shoes that is ideal in terms of movement and comfort. Again, these companies use specialized software for the sake of design and analysis. So when you pay for a pair of sports shoes, you also pay for the investment that goes into providing you the level of comfort associated with them.

Now what happens to the people who are not sports enthusiasts but are still looking for a comfortable pair of shoes for daily use? What is the point of paying several hundred dollars for a pair of shoes when you do not require that level of specialization? There are many who would like to wear a comfortable pair of shoes while going for their daily walk. So what is required is a pair of shoes that are less specialized but at the same time provides the level of comfort that is the hallmark of Nike shoes.

Nike’s Air Force One shoes are perfect answer for those who want affordable and comfortable shoes for daily wear. You will now be able to appreciate why Nike’s Air Force shoes are so special. First, they are hybrid shoes, or in other words, they are a cross between sports shoes and a pair of casual shoes. Compare the price of these shoes to the price of the Nike sports shoes and you will find that they are definitely more affordable. These shoes come in a wide range of designs and colors to suit all tastes. You may wear these shoes on your daily walk or even a visit to your child’s school and if you want to spend the day playing a game of soccer, the shoes will serve the purpose perfectly.

thankz!!

Go to Champs and get this thing called force fields because they will stop creasing in your shoes. The only thing you can do with the ones you already have is stuff them and leave them upside down so gravity can help if you put something heavy like a rock in them to bend the toe box back too the shape it was before
