I just got a pair of Adidas Predator PowerSwerve TRX FG soccer shoes. They came with the Powerswerve insoles in them. They also came with adiPrene insoles. Which set of insoles would you recommend I wear?

Either insole would work fine and I don’t think it would make much of a difference. The powerswerve insoles make the boot heavier which is better when shooting or kicking but make it slightly harder to run. I would use the adiprene insoles because the powerpulse is a bit of a gimmick and Light boots are always better.

Founded by the late great Parisian av ante-garde, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in 1909. The house has inspired and spawned some the globes most innovative and important designers (including Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, of course). Creating some of the most sensational examples of garment and accessory craftsmanship, Chanel maintains its pertinence in the ever changing, “cut-throat” fashion world. With their simple yet effective black and white trademark pallet, this line has achieved what many brands have struggled to obtain. A continuous production of highly desired merchandise, without any drastic deviation form the labels original vision, season after season after season. And, it is for this reason it will forever be the most fabulous of them all.

Founded by Italian design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in 1985. The luxurious women’s line signature pinstripe pant suit and corset ted dress, has been seen worn by everyone from Madonna to Fergie. Although better recognized for their take on the feminine silhouette, the designers broadened their fan base with the release of the highly anticipated men’s collection and D&G in the early 1990’s. Like many successful labels, the fashion house also includes a thriving footwear, perfume / cologne, eye wear and accessory component. That has found its own band of followers the world over and Toronto is certainly no exception. (Also be on the look out for their D&G kids line. Why not start your childs fashion sense off at an early age?)

When Adele Casagrande married Edoardo Fendi in 1925, they decided to change the name of her already established leather and fur shop to Fendi. Little did they know that they would also change the coarse of how high fashion would be viewed throughout the world from that point onward. Adapting the double F “Zucco” logo in the 1960’s, prompted by German Head Designer Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi went on to become a world wide force for designer luxury goods. Their ready to wear line gained immediate praise and although the dealt lesser expensive pelt products, a sacrifice in quality was never an issue. To this very day this fabulous house shows no signs of slowing down. That is, if record sales of their highly sought after “Spy Bag” in 2005 and Mr. Lagerfelds stunningly historic show on top of The Great Wall in 2007 serves as any indication. Fendi would appear to be just as relevant as ever before.

Now, I’m not exactly sure why they call it the “Heart Land” considering that there is not a whole lot out there besides a Tim Horton’s, gas stations and strip malls. However; one thing I can definitely give my testimonial to is the Heartland Town Centre and most notably the Harry Rosen Outlet. Finally an outlet for men that desire to update as well as add flare to their existing wardrobe and at a fraction of the original cost, I might add. Their selection of designer suits and sport coats alone is worth the trip to Mississauga. Not to mention dress shirts, shoes, casual wear, accessories, outerwear… I can’t see how you could be possibly disappointed by your visit. Hugo Boss, Burberry, Lacoste, Marc Andrews, Belstaff are all here if you are willing to hunt through the stores seemingly endless racks of men’s wear. Gentlemen you have been informed now go forth and be stylish.

What more can be said about Holt Renfrew’s Last Call besides – don’t walk, run and check it out. Any shopper that seeks amazing deals by even more amazing labels, will find themselves overwhelmed at the outlets new location inside the mammoth Vaughan Mills Mall. You name the label Last Call probably has it, that’s assuming you don’t mind buying off season, from Boss to Cavalli it is all there awaiting your discovery. Dolce and Gabbana and Fendi priced at a fraction of its original suggested retail price, the list goes on and on. I couldn’t think of a better excuse to escape to the Burbs.
