Does anyone know if the rent of a room and not on the lease can be evicted without notice? (Toronto)?
tenant laws also does not protect me, even if the MAI in the lease, but sub-lease? AMI, Toronto, Ontario ….. thank you
Yes and not in fact depend local regulations. Generally, if a person is to receive mail at a residence for a period of time that is considered legal rights a tenant. Technically, they could not file eviction papers because they are not in a lease, sublease unless the holder would be required to provide documentation in its place. If the owner will submit documentation that should be for all parties in the car not just you. Long story short, if you really want to have ways of fighting and dragging over a long period of time.
