Trip to Toronto?
If I travel to Toronto, Ontario in late March for a visit during the night with some friends. There are 4 of us going and we're all in the range of 19-22 years of age, so that the majority of the legal drinking age. We already have a hotel (King Edward), but looking for suggestions of what to do. Since we can not go into town until Friday afternoon, our time is very limited. If anyone has any suggestions for a place to eat, something to do for nightlife (bars, clubs), and perhaps lunch / Dinner on site the next morning, it would be appreciated! We would be closer to our hotel to reduce the conduct of taxi fares. Thank you!
The King Edward Hotel is located in downtown Toronto. Some suggestions of places to eat (10 minutes or less) – Jump, Far Niente, rudder shaft, not to mention the restaurant at King Edward's really good (I think it is called Victoria) Some other ideas can be found on this link: http://www.dine.to/ As for nightlife, some great clubs are Circa, Drake Hotel, Docks Some other ideas for clubs are here: http://www.clubvibes.com/index.asp?city=5 There are many great shops Yonge Street, or along the front (east side of Yonge Street). Yorkville is located just north of Bloor and Yonge – you can take underground – and a small area is ideal for shopping, restaurants and shops.
